Pointing...

Corrine and I met a friend at the mall today for a little outing. Corrine had fun watching the cars go by on the bridge between the two sides, she'd point and wave and chatter at them. She liked all of the pretty flowers and decorations. A very enjoyable afternoon.

She also enjoyed people watching... and pointing.

So of course she pointed right at a teenage couple who walked out of a store in front of us. The boy had his yellow polo shirt collar popped up and interesting shorts/guy capris on. His girlfriend, who was NOT petite by any definition, had a side ponytail held with bobby-pins, a page-boy cap tilted to the side of her ponytail, three shirts sloppily layered that rested on the overhang that abruptly met a pair of size 2 (not really) jeans... not totally odd, right? Until Corrine pointed and "talked" about what she could see at her eye level... 2 chafing thighs. What?!? Yep - a new trend apparently is to slit your jeans where it's nobody's business and feel the breeze... if one has room for a breeze. I know this is not my traditional post of cute baby moments and pictures but this was by far the most outrageous thing Corrine has pointed out, leaving mommy speechless as I narrated her pointing: "oh, look at those cars... yep, there's a red one... and a blue one... and, oh - - - oh, my... there goes a vue."
