Pictures as Promised

Here are some pictures from our visit from Aunt Laila and Verity (by popular demand, their website is now linked on the right if you'd like to see more Verity pictures).

Corrine shared very nicely and soon Verity was playing the drum, too.

When snack time came, Verity shared her unflavored, unsalted, brown rice cake with Corrine... yum? Verity pondered the probability of a positive outcome from her taste buds prior to trying her crunchy canapé.

She liked it! And this isn't her first rice cake... see those arm rolls and my favorite wrist roll? Those cause baby envy! She is so cute and round and cuddly!!
Corrine like her first rice cake, too, although a bit unsure at first. The next day we spread some fruit on top and it was a big hit!

Verity made her uncle happy by sitting with him for a while. Corrine was a little jealous.

Verity met Maggie, who stayed in her house for the visit since the 2 kids combined don't equal half of 1 maggie yet. Verity has 2 kitties at home and seemed surprised at how big we grow kitties on our side of town. :-)

In my earlier post, I mentioned how calm and observant Verity is. So, we traded kids for a moment... I took a coffee break with Verity and Laila spent some quality time on the move with her little monkey of a niece.
