Piano?

Corrine loves to play the piano and often asks on a daily basis when the next piano session will be. Grandma has a grand piano with a bench that perfectly fits two cousin butts. Corrine was teaching Verity how to play the piano. Corrine likes to be the "big cousin" and show Verity things (whether Verity already knows how to do it or not).

Corrine likes to have sheet music open to read while she plays, just like Grandma. She even requests Grandma's page turning services so she doesn't lose her place on the keys. The above picture is taken while she was playing a particularly intense part of the piece.

Corrine also likes to "switch" and play the happy higher keys and give Verity a turn at the bold low notes. Corrine is waiting for her toes to touch the pedals, too, and when she plays with Grandma she gives instructions to push the pedals.

We sang "If you're happy and you know it then your face will surely show it..." and Verity showed us some nice smile dimples.
