Corrine had her first birthday party this weekend and we had a house full of family and friends to help her celebrate! Her party was Winnie the Pooh themed. A friend of mine, Katie, had stopped by earlier in the week and brought her a Winnie the Pooh dress for her birthday - it was the perfect outfit to wear at the party!
Cousins from both sides of the family were able to come.
Neighbors came, too!
Corrine's Grandma and Granddad brought a cute Winnie the Pooh cake.
At the exciting moment of her first cake, my camera started taking funny pictures with stripes on them... no idea what happened?!?!?So, my dad's camera has most of her party pictures. Hopefully he'll pass them along and I can post more. Here are 2 pictures of her cake in the "Stripe" mode.
My sister made Corrine a baby carrot cake and put cooked carrots around the edges. Carrots are a big favorite of Corrine's and she enjoyed the cake but started to cry for a second when everyone sang happy birthday.
Corrine's Grandma and Grandpa had given her a first birthday outfit that came with a crown and everything so she changed into her "birthday princess" outfit for cake and presents. She ate some cake when everyone stopped singing and enjoyed opening all of her fun presents afterwards. Thanks to everyone who celebrated with us!
