Happy Halloween!

Corrine was Barney the dinosaur for Halloween this year. She has tried on her costume on and off for a month already so was very excited she got to wear it outside the house tonight!

Here is the front view...
And here is the side view - showing off her favorite thing - a TAIL of her very own!

Here she is at her first house. She said "trick or treat" and got a big box of goodies, which she took to the porch step to investigate. She was so excited there was a whole night when people give you treats. It was pretty cold, so after house number one, we went home and got our big winter coat and gloves, so then she looked like a snow bunny... with a tail. :-)

Later, she helped Daddy hand out candy - with a sucker in her mouth of course. She got 3 suckers in her bag and when she got home and Daddy helped her dump out her bag to see her collection, she tried sucker number 1.... then she nicely offered to pass it along and "share" it with me... only so she could then try sucker number 2.... which she then offered to the neighbor later so she could try sucker number 3.

Corrine and Granddad made a pumpkin this week and we put it outside with a candle inside for the trick or treaters. Corrine painted ears and hair around the back of the pumpkin. She was excited to see the pumpkin glowing from down the street and always concerned with pumpkin safety. Earlier in the day she had a big outing with Grandma Linda and Papa and when she was showing Grandma her pumpkin, she told her not to touch it because it would get hot. When she was done trick or treating, she walked up to the pumpkin, pulled his top off, and blew out the candle.
