Granddad babysat Corrine and introduced her to a Christmas train. She LOVED it! Her little head bobbed in a circle with her eyes glued to the little train - we'd stop the train and make it go backwards so she got some neck exercise in the other direction! :-)
Mom's retirement tea was nice - both granddaughters were awake and happy. We wrote her a book - fitting for her career - that had presents on various pages. One of the gifts was a necklace with the birthstones of each granddaughter.
